2019 Porsche 935 released !
Discovered it just now and wanted to announce it here.
But you have been to fast...
I saw a Mazda RX7 released as well.
Automobilista 2 Mods!!!
It should be a nice car to drive with it's Wankel engine.
I can't try the car at the moment. My wheel stopped working
I installed it and did a quick trip around the 'ring, nice car!
However...it's probably going to stop working soon since there's been so many betas and we're probably going to get a major update either this weekend or next. Hopefully they can update the boot files quickly. That's gotta be frustrating but hopefully not too discouraging as the work of the modders is appreciated, keep it up!
Normally updating the bootfiles happens very quickly.
Only after huge physics and drivetrain updates when the cars have to be reworked lasting a bit longer...
Ferrari FXX-K released !
....and the Jaguar XE is back on track too!
Bootfiles are up to date now!
THX again to the modders
Yes big thanks to the modders !
I finally decided to try the Alpine and what a joy, easy to drive, ideal for close racing...exactly the kind of car I was waiting for.
but...unfortunately, the ai is broken...
Even at 120 difficulty and maximum aggro, the AI is far too slow.
Moreover, by simulating the end of qualification, the ai finished with a completely unreal time of 4 seconds faster...
but unfortunately not as fast in the race...
Maybe there is a way to tweak the AI behavior file?
@robillard3381 thank you for this great work, but as a Frenchman like you, I wonder ... where is the clio cup ???
Don't answer me too quickly Renato, I know the clio cup will be in the France pack!
Like a moron that I am, I didn't even notice there's a gt4 version...
This one works wonderfully, I'm last, I'm much too slow! it's perfect !
OK, I'm going back!

Interesting. How time consuming to prepare are the bootfiles? VRC are just advising to download the Project Cars Modding Team version. Have they had correspondence with you all about that?
Thanks a lot for your feedback, it is always a pleasure to read that!
Yes, the AI is not a very easy thing to adjust. There are many parameters to take into account, and some will be perfect for one category of car and will be completely irrelevant for another, even very close (the Cup and the GT4 have the same settings, I don't really understand what is going on...)
So it's the best I can do with the cup, and if I find something to improve it, I'll do an update of course!
And for the Clio Cup, why not. Importing it from PC2 would be very easy. But it's not really my favorite car, let's say that I prefer rear-wheel drive than front-wheel drive! But why not, if Reiza decides not to do it and if people really want it
Once you are familiar with the procedure it takes about 1-2 minutes to prepare a new version of the bootfiles.
Inserting new cars doesn't consume much more time.
And by the way, when you have set up JSGME you easily can use it too to activate custom liveries. This way you have the oversight what you have "in stock" and can quickliy change thr liveries for a given series (i.e. different years...)
I would like do drive the clios too, but i'm highly satisfied with the sort of cars you made so far. So it's up to you...
Yes. It's all above board.
Is it possible to mod in audio? This is the best VR sim for me but it is just missing one thing in my opinion. High quality engine sounds and special effects like squeaks when the car bumps around on the road. RRE i think has squeaks and it adds so much to the immersion.
I decided to give it a go at the Ferrari GTO and Porsche 935, and oh boy, the Ferrari is a blast at Spa 1970 as expected and the 935 is a hell of a track toy, feels like a proper racecar, amazing stuff.
Currently, no. I hope either someone finds a way or Reiza open this up somehow.
The latest Audi GTO by VRC is a prime example. Really nice model visually and drives as well as any offcial content, but sounds nothing like the original car.
