TL;DR: Corners in F1 cars now feel very good, but corner exits seem very, very easy, especially with the 90's and 00's cars. Should be far easier to get wheelspin.

Same thing happens in the setup screen, I have to move mouse over all page elements to "unlock" responses.

Agree, but I think the post was in relation to the tyre, which while valid also need to be realistic that not all cars can be done at once, one favourite might not have received the goods yet in sure it will soon.

Reminder, that each car in the game is under review for required carcass updates. So it will eventually also cover our personal favourites, sooner or later! ;)

The order isn't completely arbitrarily either, in which they are addressed. There is always a learning process going on and it's also done in combination with other smaller revisions to assure a proper package most of the time.

Hope AI recalibration is coming for GT3 and GT4. Those classes are unusable for single player races currently.

Why exactly? What tracks have you driven?

How do you know it should be easier to get wheelspin? Are you talking low, medium or high speed corners?

Please fix the horrible performance in the rain in VR - as soon as the rain stops the performance significantly improves - even though the track is still as wet as before, and it looks the same while driving behind another car. In VR I even switched off the raindrops, but it doesn't seem to help. Still seeing the rain... Can we make this top priority please?

Thanks for the update. When will AI vs AI overtake fixed? I watched F1 Ultimate gen2 AI yesterday and they don't know how to pass each other.

My guess is that the introduction of oval racing in Racin' USA Part 3 will force Reiza to take another look at the issue.

Looks like a solid incremental update, thank you.

looking forward to the next dev update… also keen to hear any planned work on optimising night/wet performance (I know I know, I’m a broken record…. But 50% performance drop kills VR)

Because 700-800hp and very hard carcass/grooved tyre. Also, the F-Ultimate Gen2 is actually a little harder to drive out of corners, which seems surprising. And I don't know it, of course, I was just surprised to see even the V10 Gen2 relatively tame on traction.

Does it? F1 didn't in 2000, and I thought it was supposed to replicate that year.

TC was legal in 2001-2 which is the year it's representing. Idk why ams2cars.info says 2000, that's just wrong.

Officially they didn't, but in practice many did. Because of this, and it being effectively impossible to police, it was made legal for the 2001 season. That was less a "traction control is appropriate for F1" move than it was a recognition of the reality.

Fast forward a few years and F1 gets mandated spec ECUs and along with them traction control was banned again.

OK then forget it, if there's traction control at play here, it's a different story.

I just had probably the best AI experience in AMS2 I've ever had in a formula car. Laguna Seca/F-Classic Gen2 worked perfectly, especially (once!) on corner exit, where I actually stood a chance against what the AI did.

In other news, the AI on F-V10 Gen1 are far too slow on the straights.

EDIT: Formula V10 Gen2 AI is too slow overall; 2,5 seconds slower than me on 115. Also, dirty air on this car is absolutely undrivable; when racing against the AI, I found myself losing up to half a second per corner on Suzuka/Kansai. If it's the same online, this car is not viable for racing.
