Believe it is a note for the driver if pit limiter fails what they need to aim at for rpm and gear to reach the garage without speeding

All the new content is fantastic. Great work Reiza.

TAA improves the shadow's and general look of the world, but there is more aliasing around the cockpit. This is not in VR. As 99.9% of the time I don't pay much attention to the cockpit I would say it is better for me.

Not tried the lmp cars yet or had a race against the AI.

The historic tracks look great but are not worth paying full price for, unless you must have the period accurate versions. Of course buying them at full price would be a good way to support Reiza, and because the car pack is such value for money buying both seems fair.

All the cars I've driven (nearly all besides the protos) are incredible and I have zero clue what all the complaints about sound were based on. Cars sound fantastic to me.

Tha tracks too - loving Spa 2005!

  4. Funny how some people here are ready to defend some things they don't know sh about like a guy who posted some customized bmw for comparison.... I tried DLC by myself and sounded the SAME to me like it was on that stream and yes, that m3 gtr interior sound is still AWFUL (also, m3 use clutch for downshifts and it was H pattern gearbox) . Does that mean i hate Reiza? NO, i still love them because of the other content they bring to us which is at higher quality in my eyes, also, TAA is phenomenal and i like the physics of those cars, but not sounds of most..
Waiting for next IMSA content, this will be my first pass on cars DLC.. For those who like it please enjoy, don't let this affect you.

I've tested quite a few car and track combination in several time of the day. I'm in general happy with car handling except few of them (but it's personal taste, for example I didn't like the corvette ). Where I was a bit deluded was instead the TAA behaviour in VR. It's too soft looking for me and there is some distracting smearing around the whitish objects. I think MSAA at high is much better, even if it brings different problems. Tomorrow I'll try again... But first attempt was not impressive. I've tried with sharpness at 50, the default, and above... If you guys play in VR, can you please tell me your opinion and preferred settings?

    Feels good.

Sir I think you might have taken the wrong BMW M3. The euro version is clearly a sequential in 2005. You can clearly hear the upshifts being from a sequential in this quali lap at Nords

For me TAA works well in flat screen with 100% sharpening. For VR MSAA is still the best option.

Today's new YouTube trailer for this update is the probably the best one I've ever seen out of Reiza. I also noticed that this seems like the first promo video released on YouTube to feature a 4K encode. Keep up the good work.

Tried all sorts of different settings on triple 1440 through the dev process.
I’ve come to Running TAA despite a couple of tradeoffs .
But can run just about everything on High , and use quite a lot of sharpening to reduce any blurring , there is a large range to experiment with after all . Around 275-325 is my range at the moment .
I’ve found Trilinear filter better than Anistrophic better at making the trees look more organic , less flat dimension and defined edges..sorta thing .

It’s much better than MSAA in terms of shadow and night running .
there is a small trade off for less clarity at some distances and a few shimmering curbs at a certain angle .
And some issues on cars around the banner and windscreen in cockpit view that depend on the car.
But these are known issues .
And at first I thought no… MSAA is still better … until I go back to it and notice all the guard rails … and can’t unsee them anymore ..

Yea fully agree, in general I prefer TAA/DLSS, yes not as sharp but better in other areas. TAA will never be as sharp, but on the other hand MSAA isn’t used much in titles any more, so yea everyone on a general basis will have to get use to it.

But yea TAA, won’t be for everyone, so just be happy AMS2 has all the options, and if your expectations were this was going to be better overall in every area, just leave them at the door and give it ago and I bet a lot will come around to it being better.

I find it very disappointing that you've chosen to focus on Endurance yet you've made zero improvements to driver swaps. There is still no NAMED AI co-driver(s), in Endurance racing there are typically teams of 3, and just as importantly there are still no AI-to-AI driver swaps.
Instead of just throwing new content at us, I suggest you ADD new features to the sim.

The M3 GTR is not H-pattern manual, it's a sequential box with shift cut but no auto-blip which is why you need clutch for downshifts - same as V8 Supercars.

The interior noise to me is just fine - straight-cut gears are LOUD

Your video actually has the car with the correct engine, but an H-Pattern gearbox.

The car used in 2004 Spa indeed had a sequential stick shifter though!

Video is awfully distorted unfortunately but this is the car we have in the game:
