Bluetooth buttonbox not recognized.

Has anyone gotten the Ultimarc BlueHID to work with Automobilista?
Works fine with all other games, even rFactor 1.
I have tried everything I can think of but Automobilista just will not recognize it at all

 

Nobody??
Anyone know of a way to force Automobilista to use/see a controller??

 

Make sure it isn't using XInput, as we only support Xbox Controller xinput devices.

I do not know how to tell if it is using XInput and a quick google search did not help either, but it gives me a direction to try to solve this problem.

No, Automobilista does not see it at all.
Shows up in windows device list and is configurable there no problem.

 

Open your my docs\automobilista\userdata\<drivername>\controller.ini

Look for these settings (1-6) and set them to 0, if you ever wish to use an xbox controller you will need to revert this back.
Check XInput on Device 1="1" // Do we check if this device is XInput?

I assume that you do not have 6 other devices appearing in the list?

 

No I only have 2 devices, it sees my wheel fine but does not see anything else

 

Was hoping maybe the update would help but no such luck
Is there no way to force Automobilista to see available controllers?
I know there is nothing wrong with the controller because Windows and all my other games see it.........

 

Press start -> run -> dxdiag -> Input page, what do you see?

i.e.

 

My controller is listed......there are 12 other devices listed do you need to see them all?

What are the 12 other devices? Try removing as much as you can? Start the game with just the bluetooth box connected?

Not sure what all the devices are, what I can think of off the top of my head:
OSW FFB wheel which included the pedals
Bluetooth Button box
Wireless keyboard/mouse

 

Well that didn't help either.........
unplugged wheel, and wireless keyboard/mouse
plugged in wired keyboard and mouse
only thing else in USB is Bluetooth receiver, button box checks out fine in windows
Now Automobilista finds NO controllers

Guess I'll just uninstall Automobilista since the button box works fine with everything else.........

 

It seems strange that you have 12 other devices, that's a lot? I would rather try to have as few devices plugged in: keyboard and mouse, wheel, the button box giving problem. And then add one by one the others: don't you think it is a conflict between 2 devices? Not sure why it shows up in AMS only…
