I am having problems joining online games, there appear to be just a few online games when I go to look for a race, when I try to join several or most of the drivers have Red connection status, If I manage to join part way through qualifying the other cars are stationary but I am able to continue, there is a notice that I have been disconnected from the race. I have only completed a handfull of races without problems. I have looked up ports that should be open and have done this in my Router, I have NO PROBLEMS IN OTHER GAMES, I can join and race in iracing, ACC, RF2 and Racerooms3. Its very frustrating, I am not keen on racing against Ai or hot lapping.
Can't answer all your points but on the issue of few online races, at the time you posted there were only about 60 people playing the the game and most were probably not racing online.
