Hi, tried today driving stock car which is sequential gear and it only drives with h pattern in my system I have of course set the paddles shifters in the configuration I currently have a Fanatec CSL Elite wheel with the Static Shifter Paddles addon that's why it shows Button 28 and 29. Also why does Steam Screenshot (F12) take a BMP file? 8mb of size, at least on the menu
Have you tried Controle Scheme > Custom Wheel. Then edit the assignments. Calibrate wheel and pedals and race.
it's not a matter of calibrating things, that makes no sense at all. I can assing the buttons so there shouldn't be a problem to begin with. On previous betas I couldn't assing buttons to the starter and ignition and now I can. I must say I have several usb devices but in this case these gear up / down buttons come from the fanatec wheel itself (it's a shifter plugged to the Shifter 2 port)
When I drive sequential cars I always enable the AutoClutch feature, and disable it for H gears cars. Not sure if it's needed but at least I can drive all cars whatever gears system they use. Did you try that?
but no, I didn't select Custom Wheel. though if it registers the button input it should work regardless
Believe me. I am using it too. With my HE-shifter. The Fanatec preset is somehow hardcoded to use with SEQ of the normal paddles and/or the SEQ if you map it to use the input of the paddles in the driver. The static shifter has different input numbers, so you need to use Custom Wheel. Then edit the assignments and voila you can race with your static paddles.
