Barely anyone sees the chat-box anymore since it's been removed from the main menu. There has been much less general discussion in rooms since the chat box was moved (a year or so ago). It's very difficult to communicate with other players now. Most people may occasionally check the chat box but it's rare. It's much more difficult to manage an online room when no one's seeing the chat. Please look into this, Reiza. Communication is quite important online, not to mention it adds more fun and depth to the online experience; it's died down massively since the chat box was relocated.
