    Hi,

running a dedicated server, can I start it from the command line like 'server --config "path/to/file" --start now'?

Or can I add every option as a parameter?

Do you have a documentation for either? I didn't find anything in the User Guide from Steam except "joining multiplayer servers". I gathered from a thread here that you have some options available.

Can I also do something like 'server --talk "message"' and 'server --quit force' (if it crashed leaving a message box open)?

    Hello,

I've read hints about the User Manual. However my Steam version User Manual certainly has nothing in above regard.

    Apologies for the bump.

The Documentation for the Dedi Tool is pretty much the same one from Rfactor 1.

For the command line as parameter, i only know 2 of them (don't think what you mentioned exists):

+profile <ProfileName> ----- This lets you specify a driver profile which is handy if you run multiple servers on the same machine.
+oneclick ----- This option causes the server to start up minimized with the previous combination (won`t ask for anything).

    Example: "Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista - Dedicated Server\AMS Dedicated.exe" +profile "Lancer" +oneclick

Unfortunately, it crashes when I start it with OneClick. Starting it normal works.

    Any idea why? Thanks!

    Weird..
The crashdupms usually happen when it does not detect steam!

Pity, would have loved to include AMS in justrace.net
