Hi all could anyone tell me how to change/set the location of my 'UserData' folder? when i first ran the game everything was contained within the 'steamapps\common\Automobilista\UserData\MyPlayerName' , I have since reinstalled and the game is always making my userdata folder in 'C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Automobilista\MyPlayerName' How can i force the game to create them as before? this is driving me mad so any help is appreceiated!! thanks in advance
It must be possible, if you don't want to run it in administrator mode, to edit the config.ini in your C:\Users\.......\Documents\Automobilista and choose another drive for the data directories Make a backup of the config.ini before you try
thanks for your reply, I do not want it to make any folders in 'C:\Users\.......\Documents\Automobilista' as i have limited space on my C: drive. It never did this before it just did everything under Steam folders which are on my D: drive. Thanks again
