Hey Guys, I have a TS-PC Racer wheel and no matter what rim I use I am having issues with clicking the downshift paddle once but the car downshifts twice which causes me to spin out. Other sims have double downshift prevention settings so this is not possible but AMS2 does not. Is this something that will be implemented? I have tried 2 different rims and they both do it so I dont think its my wheel
Yeah there was a discussion about it here: Gearshift Debounce option? One of the posters raised a bug report in the stickied topic too. I spoke to the guy who wrote JoyToKey to ask if it was possible to do it with that. Whilst it isn't currently he will look into adding it in a future release. So if they don't add it in AMS2, it may be possible to use that.
(Posted this also in another topic, however the OP posted later that his problem was due to his shifter..) Same here ... not constant , but regularly on downshifts. T300 with an USB wheel, USB straight onto PC, so not via HUB. Also mapped downshift to a button instead of paddle, same thing Had the same 2 patches ago, last patch all was fine, and now with 9.3.1 it came back again. Other games are totally fine (F1-2019,AC, R3E, DR2) Tried something else; It seems I don't get it when driving cars with "electronic" clutch control, like the Formula Ultimate. As soon as I switch to cars like P1 or Ultima GTR it's there again .... tried both "Automatic Clutch" On and Off Can anyone with the double downshift/upshift problem test this also?
+1 As I posted about this a while ago I have this issue only with my G25 shifter in sequential mode (so it's related to the hardware, not the game), mostly during upshifts. That being said, I am very much in support of adding a configurable double-shift protection to AMS2.
