Madness engine does not allow more than 49 cars, It's inevitable. this method only works on smaller garage size truck like Bugatti, Donington and more.
The topic is interesting, thank you for sharing the information. Is there a way in the TRD file to remove the safety car for a specific track? This would allow the use of certain circuits without pit lanes in a championship series.
Not sure, but as far as I know, I tested it on long tracks like Le Mans and the Nürburgring to try removing the safety car but didn’t work. P.S. I don't know "circuits without pit lanes" means, I thought all of tracks has pitlanes.
I don't know the answer that you want but edit <prop name="Track Type" data="Circuit" /> change "Circuit" to "Rallycross" SC is gone
You need to extract the files first, make the changes with the proper editor, and then compress again, right? Is there a guide for that somewhere?
Unfortunately, this no longer works in the latest update. In the previous version, you could simply install the mod via a mod manager and then locate the TRD/CRD files.
[I install again car mod, the file a found current version] No need editor, compressor. just open TRD/CRD file by notepad then edit it.
I need to look into this when I have more time. I'd like to change the default date on some tracks. So, I simply install any mod, and then I can edit the files using Notepad, just like that? I remember you could do that in PC2 if you had some mod installed, and you could edit meta data for the cars as well, like change the name or class for instance.
Does the info in this thread applies only to mods? Is it possible to apply those changes to Reiza tracks?
It's working perfectly on mod tracks as well. I'm racing Juniors on Rouen in 1962 right now. I wonder, is there a way to change the track name as shown in-game? It's not in these files, as far as I can see.
TBH I'm not the modders so idk how. how about add these on trd? <prop name="Name" data="[Edit HERE]" /> <prop name="TrackName" data="[Edit HERE]" /> <prop name="ShortTrackName" data="[Edit HERE]" />
No, it's not there. I have a feeling it's a little more complex than a single entry here. It does work on some tracks though.
