Game freezes in VR if using mouse

Hi,
Automobilista 2 freezes when I run it in VR and if I use the mouse to navigate in the game.
I can use the mouse to change car or circuit, but the games freezes when I click Start to go to the race.
Or if use the mouse while in the race, changing options for example, the games freezes when I try to resume the race.
When the game freezes the only option then is to kill the game and to restart it.
All work Ok with mouse if not in VR, and all work Ok in VR if I use just the VR pointer.
Anyone with similar pb? anyone found a way to fix it?

More info required - headset, steam VR or ??

 

Using HTC Vive, and Steam VR (is there another way to run the game? I mean without Steam VR?)
No overclocking.

 

Hmm - works perfectly for me. Maybe try verify the game in steam see if that fixes it.
