It should/could have been a dream,if the Dev Team (then Broadsword Interactive) did their job right. The game was no sucess,unplayabel,bad FFB and one patch only.I had it these days and was disappointed that it was never fixed,so it went in the trashbin....Man,what could have been...

Yup. It's the game that got me into Sim racing. GP2 with a joystick (as in, and actual flight stick, which was the only way I had access to analog throttle and steering)
Nice. Revs with a Voltmace on the BBC for me, then another Voltmace for F1GP on the Amiga. First wheel was a Formula Force (not the GP). I got one at the same time as a friend and he broke it on the first lap not expecting the max 180° rotation
My first F1 Sim was F1 World Grand Prix on the Nintendo 64. Great game, ahead of it's time in some ways with such things as dirt pickup on the tyres.
