High end VR settings

I recently upgraded to Ryzen 9 and 4080. I'm using a Reverb G2. Just wondering if anyone could share their VR settings and experience with a similar system?

For starters use OpenComposite with OpenXR tool for best performance and visuals.

 

@2ndLastJedi Can you please point to a guide to set that up in AMS2 ? I have used in AC but did not know it was usable in AMS2. I tried about a year ago and never got it working. Cheers

 

So I tried the openXR and had to get the PimaxXR version. Unfortunately the head tracking is terrible in my 8KX as it is shaking and jittery all over which makes it unusable. The image inside the headset looked great but unless they can get the tracking fixed it will not ever be viable.

What I love about this game is I'll start testing something (usually VR or FFB related lol) and time just flies by while I do lap after lap.

 

What did you settle on?

 

I just copied everything from the video, looks good and runs great. I also have a G2 and a 3080.

 

That sounds great @TronLi I am hopeful that Pimax OpenXR will get some update to correct the tracking issue and run smoothly with AMS2. Until then I am using OpenVR which gives few extra frames.
