I use GIMP as editor. don't let GIMP modify your files
    Export as BC1/DXT1
I need template files because it cost me hours to place the decals

Wow that's a lot of messing! I'm sure I used to just open PC2 .DDS files, edit with photoshop, done. Obviously you could rename the original files to have them as a backup etc, but what's all the quickbms, script and .bff stuff?
Is all that because he's editing the actual inbuilt liveries rather than using the in-game custom livery selector? (The all white car)

Yes you edit the ingame content
Does Automobilista 2 have an in-game livery selector ?
or are you talking about pCars2?
The pCars2 method in the video can be used for AMS2 and works like a charm.

Yep, was referring to PC2 as per video. [Thumbs up]. Hmm, I never actually edited the original liveries in PC2, just the custom one (Which AMS2 doesn't have 'yet'), hoping there's an easier/faster way coming.

No, this doesn't work on Automobilista 2.

He seguido los pasos del video y funciona correctamente.
Lo que no entiendo es por que en ocasiones, al reimportar dice que el archivo es damasiado grande cuando no lo es.
Se soluciono eliminando algunos textos de la imagen.

    Google translator:
I have followed the steps in the video and it works fine.
What I don't understand is why sometimes when re-importing it says the file is too big when it isn't.
It was solved by removing some texts from the image.

rar files are archives like zip or 7z. You must open the psd file inside the rar.
xml files ar text files similar to ini files. Can't be opend in a graphics editor.
    For editing xml's i suggest "notepad++".
