I just loaded up one of the championships on AMS2 after a shrt break away. I created a Championship using the International GT Template, but noticed that i was required to race for 3 hours straight at Bathurst etc. Are we still unable to edit Championships, or is there a Community Championships Repo i am unaware of? If anyone has a direct copy of the International GT (GT3) Championship but with the tracks edited to around 20/30min races please feel free to share. Does anyone know a way to create a copy of this Championship without having to resort to pen and paper to jot down all the settings and then manually enter them, It seems crazy this isnt possible? I also noitced that cars still float in the pit lane, drive through the pit crew on exit, slide into the pits side ways etc. I was under the impression these (along with basic UI issues mentioned above) would have been resolved by now, is this expected in 1.6? Anyone got a International GT Championship , or wish to share an International GT Custom Championship based on the default one inculded in the game but with more family friendly race times? Cheers
If you choose the preset then you can't change the tracks and lenght. What you can change is the percentage of the race before starting, right where you choose the difficulty you can also change the lenght i.e. if you select 50% you will race for 1.30 hrs instead of 3. If you wish to do a new championship out of the scratch you must choose one of the first five which are called "custom championship" and there you can edit everything you want
Just tried this and you are correct, there is indeed a section to reduce the length down from 3rs down to 30 minutes (which is far more reasonable) Thank you so much for pointing this out, i never saw this option and i assume it can be adjusted per track before i start each race which is great! I would still love to have a section where we can all share championships with each other, as i saw a youtuber setup some great historic races, using real times, dates, weather, etc but then didn't share the file? It seems crazy for every single person to re-do the time/effort and work required to set this up if it has already been done by someone with in-depth knowledge. If anyone has any championships they have created, or knows of somewhere to grab some good championships to play though id love to know, im surprised there isn't a thread here for users who have meticulously setup classic races from F1, GT or BTCC minis etc. Thanks again though, this indeed does assist for now, as it means i can do the built in championships and not have to sit and race for 3 hours a race, when im lucky if i get that much free time a week, so thank you.
