    Hi all I am looking to do a monitor upgrade from my 34 inch 2560 X 1080 monitor to either a 34 inch 1440p or a 43 inch 1200p.

With the space I have 43 inch is the maximum I can fit in but I am torn between the two. I like the idea of 1440p but being the same size as my current monitor would it really be much of an upgrade?

I like the idea of the extra size of the 43 inch monitors but at 1200p the resolution is lower.

Not sure which way to go, all thoughts would be appreciated. I am running a RTX 3090.

    Cheers

I had a 40" 4k monitor and the size was really nice. I'm not sure why your looking at a 1200p monitor though with the 3090?

If there was a 1440p 43 inch I would go for that, haven't found any though. I like the ultrawides so am looking for something ultrawide. What would you suggest?

I don't know mate but I do know 1440p at 43" is back to 27" 1080p type PPI. At least with 4k 43" you around the 105ppi instead of 85. Jump on a PPI calculator and see what you've been running and how much it will gain you going bigger with less ,equal or more resolution.

I was looking at spending up to about that much actually. Yes I always look at reviews as well, it is strange how difficult it can be finding some.

Hey Jedi, I think I might go for the one below. It is 34 inch like my current one but has HDR, 1ms gtg, display port 1.4, 1440p with 109 PPI which is even higher than the 43inch 4k and it reviews very well and is bloody cheap too!
