Multiplayer - Is the race session locked?

Quick question: given there is a 90 second cutoff, if the race session is in the "wait for ready" state and there is 2 min countdown, can someone still get into the race?

I will test later but if someone knows the answer thst would be great.

No. 90seconds before P or Q active timer ends.

 

Ok so 90 seconds doesn't apply to Race and so Race is 100% locked?
