Dear all, my name is Fabio Henrique and I'm the administrator of the Racing Bears CUP, a sim racing league that is already for one year promoting championships in the Automobilista 2. We are now in the 8th season and looking to have more, specially because one year ago we had only 10 drivers in a single grid and now we handle 2 grids with 25 drivers each and with a long waiting list for the next season.
Nowadays we run these two grids with Copa Montana in a fixed setup rules using dedicated servers. However, yesterday was the first race of the 8th season in Imola for a 40 minutes stint and the following problem happened.

Some drivers started the race with 50.8 liters of fuel and others with 101 liters, which ended up harming some those with less fuel in the tank.

My question is, once is a fixed setup shouldn't fuel be standard for everyone?

These harmed drivers have invested a lot of time and money to participate in our and other championships. With this new bug and others already known to you, th pilots are getting discouraged and unfirtunately they are tending to move towards to other simulators.

What the Reiza says about it, so I can share wih the drivers and crews, to calm them down and generate somes kind on hope.

Thank you in advance. teste 1.png teste2.png

It would be interesting if we could, even with the setup blocked, change the amount of fuel for the start, as it is in ams1.

We had the same problem weeks ago. Fixed Setup would not have to avoid choosing the fuel quantity

UP Reiza, c'mon ! Every att you send, came with a new bug. Open setup, tires, fuel, gravity center about a lot of cars, replay, the list goes on and on!

    Fiquem bem.

It really is a frustrating thing not being able to compete because of an unfair advantage given to some random drivers in the grid. If this persists, all races will be luck based?

Should we move from longer races because we can't actually preview or change how much fuel every driver have and if they have the same amount?

Guys, please look into this, these kind of things are what make a simulator go above and beyond, not live track data and an infinite growing roster of classic cars.

Fix your foundations first before adding another floor, or else the whole building will colapse :)

    Hi guys,
F1BC drivers are also reporting this issue. Items of randomness regarding the initial fuel and time of car stopped at the pit stop have been items of concern for a balance in the competition. We are on hand to test whatever it takes.

Can't you just use custom setups? I find it odd that league races are on default as surely setting the car up to your own personal preferences, track & conditions is part of real racing for most series and it is supposed to be a simulation of real world racing. Also why is real, or random weather not used often in league racing, again simulating real racing? The other thing this throws in the mix is that pit strategy and weather conditions would be a major influence for the race making tactical decisions part of the racing.

I know i'll probably be told to mind my own business, but at least this issue would be avoided as a temporary measure. The use of default setups to create a level playing field seems daft to me especially when you can adjust roll-bars and brake bias on a lot of the cars which the former has a major influence on the car handling. This negates the whole argument of default setups as you are essentially creating a custom setup with the in car roll-bar settings.

No, because Custom setups is not about car engineering or anything like that, but about discovering game exploits, being totally unrealistic, in the past we used custom setups but fixed setups is better for us.

You’re preference for fixed setups notwithstanding, the basis for your opinion is shockingly ignorant. Consider for a moment that the main reason a sim is a sim is because they are simulating the physics of car mechanics. Without it you’re just driving pixel cars.

Open setup is good for who have time for fine tunning and tests, like in the major times the youths.
Here in Brasil, the most parts of the leagues are joined by workers, marrieds, parents, etc.... long story short, almost no time for trainning.
Fixed setups equalizes at least this subject.
