Hi everyone, I hope like everyone else that 1.6 is coming and I was thinking of uninstalling the current version and doing a clean install from scratch; my question is: what are the folders to delete after uninstalling AMS2 from Steam? Besides this, is there anything else to do to have a clean installation?

    Thanks everyone for the help....;)

Delete the AMS2 documents folder. Run Steam verify. That's all "I feel" is necessary for a clean installation.

Some will say a complete uninstall helps, but I'm in the camp that feels it's a waste of time and bandwidth. If you have the time and bandwidth, go for it.

Then I'd say uninstall in Steam, delete AMS2 doc folder and reinstall in Steam. That should do it!

Edit: also be sure Steam actually deletes the folder and all files in it, especially if you had mods, before reinstalling.

I've done a full uninstall as well, just wanted to get rid of four years of accumulated digital noise :)
After the Steam uninstall there was still a lot of files left in the
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2 folder, so make sure you rename/delete it before reinstalling.

If you have mods or added anything outside the normal steam install it will leave those behind. Always have to check to be sure the game folder actually gets deleted.
