Reverse gear doensn't work with Logitech Driving Force Shifter

Hello.
Recently i have purchased the Logitech G923 wheel and Driving Force Shifter.

Everything works fine in game except the reverse gear. It doesn't work with the reverse gear of the shifter (H-pattern).

One solution is to map a button for Reverse in game settings menu, but this is not to my liking.

Is there a solution to make it work?

Sorry, i have mistaken the forum. The game is AMS2 (not 1).

Works fine for me, are you pressing the stick down while engaging reverse?

 

Yes, i have tried several times with no success.

The message that i get from the game is: "Multiple inputs were detected. No action was assigned."

 

Try shifting into reverse as quickly as you possibly can from the closest gear. So you're shifting directly into it from only one position away. The main thing is to do it as quickly as possible.

I had a similar issue after the most recent update where I could not assign my steering input. The only solution was to sharply/abruptly turn the wheel. Other people have had the same problem.

I've found the solution commented in some forums.
I had to assign reverse gear and quickly return to neutral position, then the assignment works corretly.
