Hi All, RWB Racing UK, who have been focussed very much on Project Cars for a while now, are dipping our toes into AMS and just got our first AMS Dedi server up and running, creatively called, RWB Racing UK! The server is locked permanently at the moment while we find our feet but our Teamspeak server is always open (details on our website homepage - http://www.rwb-racing.enjin.com/) and anyone is welcome to join it and we'll share the password there if we are racing. We run a mix of league, 1-off events and pretty much every night, just a bunch of random races for the hell of it. You will find someone from the club on most nights so if you are struggling to find a competitive but more importantly clean race experience with people of varying skill levels any given night, it's worth giving us a look. Where are we going with AMS? - we don't know yet. I only installed the game 2 days ago. It might become the clubs main racer, it might split it's time with Pcars or might not work for the club but I will say that those of us in the club that have raced in AMS so far are smitten by it. A session last night after a Pcars event went on till 3am and I personally couldn't get enough. We are running another session tonight from 10:30pm (UK time) after our Pcars league practice so would be good to see you there. Cheers - Rodders.
Thanks to those who popped into our wee session last week. There won't be a formal one this week but please feel free to pop onto our TS server anytime and see if anyone is playing. Club uptake is slow but steady and I should have our first proper race event up next week - watch this space So anyone doesn't get the wrong idea, we are very much still a Project Cars racing club and likely to be for some time. We are not big enough to split the community between 2 games in a serious way (ie we will only ever be running one league on one game at a time) but the more people that join us in AMS the stronger the case becomes for it taking over from PCars. Who knows, maybe one day we will get enough to run with both - all down to how much fresh interest we get from people committed to AMS. I'm just beginning to load up the dedi-server with the best mod tracks and cars though we are being careful not to move too fast so adoption from club members is easier. Cheers - Rodders.
That's our dedi server now opened up to anyone that wants to join it - RWB Racing UK. It's currently got most cars available so we'd ask you use the cars people are already in when you join. The track rotation will vary all the time. List of car and track mods on the server below with links.
