RWB - Tuesday Event Night

Hi All,

RWB Racing will be holding AMS events every Tuesday night at 9:30PM UK time starting on 23rd August. This will start as single events but could well become a league.

Uptake in the club has been decent with 10 people now owning the game plus a few here showing interest too so should be some good races coming up.

In the after-race testing, the GT3 cars were fun and easy to drive, and the I love the F3, it has a lot of "feel," although it could use more power.

 

It was fun. Gutted at leading comfortably the whole race then a lapse in concentration spin on the 2nd last lap

Yeah most nights we run a race we'll run a few random ones after for anyone that sticks around.

It's the F309 on one of the Barcelona variants next week, just need to check them out when I get home to decide what one.

Right now I'm watching an IMSA GT race at Virginia (VIR) on TV. We definitely have to try out the GT3 cars at VIR after the main race. Looks like a nice combo.

 

Will this be an open/public lobby or is it a closed passsworded server recquiring a signup?

 

It's password protected but everyone is free to attend. We'll give out the password on the night via our forum or on our TS server

Last nights race was down on a few regulars but still damn good. Such a buzz racing in this game.

Yeah the GT3 cars are proving popular with the club. They are a bit too easy to drive for my liking but that also makes them accessible for members used to Project Cars and the racing in them is fantastic. Oh and they sound fantastic. AMG Merc...drool............

Had a cracking good race tonight guys, thanks to the guys from PRC for making the field a bit more crowded. Coming from pCars this is really a breath of fresh air.

And a huge thanks to Rodders for setting this up.

Yeah cracking fun tonight. Some of the best 1 on 1 racing I've had for the 1st 14 laps till I missed my braking point. I'll try and pop a partial replay up on YouTube tomorrow and link it.

Thanks to the PRC guys for joining us and I'll try to rally some more club members for next week as I know about 15 of us have AMS.

Now what to run next week is the question.......................?

Well it was a bit of a mess last night running 30 mins late due to mod issues for some people then losing a few players due to lateness. Mods eh - love em and hate em :/

Anyway - next weeks race is indeed using a mod or 2 but hopefully much simpler than the GT3 one which has a lot in it.

Please test you can connect OK to our server prior to the event as we will not be waiting to start qualy this time. You should be able to test anytime from Monday night when I'll change our server to running only this car and track until after the event.
