Sim Sprint Series presents: Retro F1 season!

Are you ready for the ultimate simracing challenge? Sim Sprint Series league is proud to present the Automobilista 2 Retro F1 Season, a five-race series that will take you back in time to some of the most iconic eras of Formula 1 racing. You will have the chance to drive legendary cars on classic tracks, and compete against other skilled drivers for glory!

The championship will start on April 20th with the first race at Silverstone '75 No Chicane, where you will drive the Formula Vintage G1 M2, a replica of the 1966 F1 cars. You will experience the thrill of racing on a fast and flowing circuit with no downforce and no traction control.

The second race will take place on May 4th at Spa Francorchamps '70, where you will drive the Brabham BT46B, a controversial car that used a fan to create extra downforce. You will face the challenge of mastering the famous Eau Rouge corner and the long straights of this legendary track.

The third race will be on May 18th at Imola '88, where you will drive the Formula Classic G1 M2, a tribute to the F1 cars of 1986. You will feel the power and agility of these turbocharged machines on a technical and demanding circuit that hosted many memorable races.

The fourth race will be on June 1st at Adelaide '88, where you will drive the Formula V12, a homage to the F1 cars of 1995. You will enjoy the sound and speed of these V12 beasts on a street circuit that was the scene of many dramatic moments in F1 history.

The fifth and final race will be on June 15th at Hockenheim 2001, where you will drive the Formula V10 G2, a representation of the F1 cars of 2001. You will test your skills on a high-speed track that combines long straights with tight corners and heavy braking zones.

The championship will use realistic settings if it comes to assists, however to make sure that everyone will be able to enjoy whole race we've decided to turn off damages as it is really easy to upset those amazing machines.

Races will be 45min long with 15min quali session before.

This is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for! I'm an online noob so I'm still learning and doing some special rookie events t get up to speed and get used to racing other people online instead of AI. Hopefully I can get confident enough that I can join in at some point
