Hi, I'm newcomer to AMS2 world. I've done some laps already and feedback from wheel is great overall but sometimes car is too nervous in my opinion.
Have you guys already found good way to tune FFB in Thrustmaster TX/T300 wheels?

I have mine currently at 70/40/30 (default TM CP). Good so far for Sprint, Stock, and the like. They say you have to increase LFB for high-downforce cars.

I am currently using 75/50/40. Some of the cars do seem nervous with the default set-ups. Try softening the rear anti-roll bar or springs a click or two.

Default. Only have it at 70/40/30 though (ex. Sprint, Ultima, SC&V8), and increase LFB to around 50 for high-downforce cars, though haven't tried all cars yet.

    I found this video useful:

For me, less gain definitely gave me more info through the wheel.

    Tx300 alcantara.

    force feedback settings
    Gain 30
    Low force boost 80
    FX 60

I use this for slower cars. And it gives me plenty of info on what is going on. It is not heavy at all so I don't get tired in my arms at all.
It doesn't translate to the faster cars well however.

Menu spring strength (has no implication for driving) 10 I would not set this too high for safety reasons.

I didn't make any changes in the configuration, I made a few in the assignments just to experiment. Button assignation with the non standard TX300 wheel has been an issue before. But no problems with AMS2.

I like 900 degrees and 100 % FFB gain in TM control panel and 40/80/50 in AMS2.
Using more than 900 degrees in TM control panel leads to lower torque and slower reactions on T300, it's been measured - since then I will never use 1080 degrees on my T300.

At 100 % the T300 overheats its a known problem I been using 1080 on ACC for a while now no Problem, I tried 900 for a bit but i wasn`t any quicker in fact i was slower and the car was twiitcher so i went back 1080

This thread shows just how personal FFB is. Such a variation in settings people are using. I've been driving default until now, but have tried a few things tonight. Settled on 80/55/50 for now, but will try some more tweaking tomorrow. TMCP is default.

I use the TX (xbox/pc variant of your wheel)

    I run default control panel

    In game:
Gain 68 (anything higher than 70 and my cornering doesnt feel nice to me)
Low force boost 50 ( 40-45 on some cars that are much heavier feeling like Mitsubishi Lancer)
    FX 55

Good cars to test your FFB settings:

    Ultima GTR Race Version
    Formula F3

    Test tracks:
    Oulton Park
    Cadwell Park
    Snetteton

jep. Thats why its relative pointless asking for "best settings".
    From 50 people you'll get 60 best settings :)
Just use defaults and try a bit mooving that "just 3" sliders to your personal preference.
You can't go very wrong.

I use constant fan on racing for hours and hours long and it never overheats and ffb never fade so it isn't true.
I remember like 2 or 3 years ago a man measured it and it looked like t300 had two states - up to 900 degrees and above 900 degrees, I've tried it and he was right when I set 1080 degrees the wheel was weaker - I doubt TM changes it with FW update even though it's possible. Except few cars (Lotuses for example) most of them has up to 900 anyway.

5€ overheating solution for T300rs you only get a solution if there`s a problem. So it is true.

Haha, we all know that isn't true! There are countless useless products out there that claim to solve problems that don't actually exist.

I run FX quite low on my TX. 15 I think, FX mostly seems to give a bunch of vibration and very little information about what the car is doing.

80/55/15 I think is what I’m using now

Same TX base here + Leather 28 GT
    Config default at CP
    In game:
    Gain 60, LFB 50, FX 50

Everything default, except gain 60 (and not 100).
And it is perfect to my taste.

Most important: Apply Renato's advice and delete MyDocuments\Automobilista 2 folder before launch this last update

    Now v.0.9.5.1
    TM CP: default
    In game:
    75, 0, 0
    And I'm in heaven!
