I'm having a problem with my triple monitor setup. Until the last update 1.6.9.5 a few days ago, everything was working fine. I had NVIDIA Surround and three monitors set up. Now, however, the display is completely wrong and I can't change the triple monitor settings. When I open the options panel for the triple screen: I can't select anything and I can't change any parameters. Is this just me? Can you tell me how to fix this? The game is currently unplayable.
Hi, Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the triple screen setup. If I am correct and you cannot change anything, it is likely you are not truly in NVIDIA Surround or it needs to be disabled and reenabled. Best to recheck that. Alternatively, try backing up and deleting the AMS2 folder in My Documents. You can also try the same with graphicsconfigdx11.xml and triplescreensettings.xml. Please reply if further help is needed. Marius
In your picture Triple Screen Spanning is deactivated - Can you edit the settings if you change it to Active?
I checked then NVIDIA Surround configuration before posting and all seems fine. Other games like Assetto Corsa or LMU are working correctly as always. I will try to backup and delete the AMS2 folder in My Documents.
Then i would try to delete Triplescreensettings.xml file in Documents and let the game generate it again.
I've already tried. I deleted the file and started the game. The settings for the triple screen are always locked and a new wrong file is generated (incorrect data and resolutions: 108'p, ecc). In normal graphics settings, the resolution is correct: 7680x1440@179hz
Greetings fellow pilots! I have the exact same problem on my triple screen setup... have you found a solution? I've tried everything without success.
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to investigate further. It seems, however, that I have a problem with NVIDIA Surround: it is active, but it seems to be in a non-compliant state since it cannot be disabled. I need to try reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers from scratch and check if AMS2 is working again. The strange thing is that it is the only game that has the problem, all the others continue to run correctly (AC, AC EVO, LMU, Raceroom, etc.).
Hi, I solved my problem. I noticed that NVIDIA Surround management was broken because I could no longer disable it. I then used DDU to completely uninstall the NVIDIA drivers and reinstalled them from scratch (an older, more stable version). Now Automobilista 2 is working properly again. Evidently this game is very sensitive to NVIDIA Surround settings because it was the only one game that had problems. I hope this information will be useful to others as well.
