    Hi all.
Just getting to grips with AMS2, it looks like the tyre temperature and wear indicators dont function.
I'm assuming this is a bug rather than a feature as if I use a SImHub overlay, the data is shown within the hub.
Just wondering if someone could confirm this, and is it in the pipeline to be fixed?
    Many thanks
    Andy

I have TyreWear info functioning through simhub and TyreTemp seems to be ok too but the TyreTempInner, middle and outer are way different than what the in game telemetry displays. Not sure which is accurate.

It is accurate if you set SimHub config via UDP. This is a AMS2 (PC2?) telemetry bug for data coming from Shared Memory.

Do you mean using the UDP frequency here?
From memory, using that option in PC2 lead to a stutter fest.

The number set means it sends telemetry data via UDP every X frames. In my case, 5 at 60fps was fine, which represents 12 sends per second which comes down to 83ms. So you need to calculate for yourself according to your refresh rate

Ah ok, I think ill jsut leave it off. Dont want to get into the issue of sorting stutter out. AMS2 runs perfectly for me at the moment, had enough of messing around in rF2 for endless hours to fix stuff like that.

I got your point but if you do want correct I-M-O tyre temps ATM you will need UDP mode. It's an API issue.

[Edit]: My specs are under the recommended minimum but even there I managed config to no stutter and steady 60fps. No problem here.

Yeah, but surely the aim is for the sim to show the correct data in the built in UI?
I'll stick with what I have at the moment, and hopefully the tyre wear indicators will work correctly in game at some point and I wont need to use simhub anyway

AMS2 report the correct tyre temps at telemetry hud (UI). What is wrong are the I-M-O telemetry data passed through API via Shared Memory and used as standard protocol for SimHub. The only alternative (for SimHub) is config app via experimental protocol (UDP).

I am not seeing anything remotely happening on the main overlay in game regarding whats going on with the tyres. The tyres are just white with a black outline, no info to tell you whats going on with them without having the huge telemetry screen in your face.
Thats the only reason why im using simhub

Ah, now I see. You're issuing another thing. Have you verified your AMS2 installed files?

    Same here.
The empty tires with a black outline is just a waste of screen space.
And the idiotic huge telemetry screen is just a complete imersion destroyer.
Its always difficult to say what is easy to change - but I dont understand why Reiza havent allready used the 1 hour it probably would take to solve these bugs/issues.

ByTheWay: OK maybe 2 hours then :D
