tbh not really good. The AI feels very unrealistic and goes offtrack to overtake, dosen't make space in quali and has unrealistic god like capabilities on some corners and dosen't know how to drive on the next corner. the UI is a buggy mess soo I'm going to downgrade till it gets fixed.

I really like it, the feel of the cars I've tested so far is great. I like the new ui, it looks crisper. The new content is great. Graphics and sound are lovely.

My only gripe is the lack of attention custom championship has seen. I mainly play single player and this is my go to. No 48car races can be set up (locked at 32). And the presets for race series don't seem to carry over to championship so if I setup an imsa championship I will get a mishmash of liveries and cars. Namely the alpine and Audi that aren't in the preset. Maybe that's picky, I just want to recreate imsa in a championship :)

Not sure TBH. The open wheelers feel way too planted, tires never seem to over heat, lap after lap pushing hard, they stay the same. Cockpit sound is not as good now in my opinion, seems much weaker. I've only tried two cars but both were much easier to drive and were much quicker than before. Has the sim been watered down ? I'm a bit sceptical/disappointed about this 1.6 TBH.

I am very positively impressed, even though the whole hype that was generated around it made me afraid I would be disappointment, the update not only lived to the expectations but surpassed what I honestly thought of it. Graphical, sound and performance wise I can't really say much since I got new hardware today (really Christmas day, Quest2->Quest3) so I don't know if the improvements I am seeing are due to it. However performance wise I saw something weird: I was just doing the exact same race in Ibarra testing different cars for a couple of laps and noticed that with Group A my performance was worse than with the other classes (also new cars) that I tested there with exactly the same conditions.

I really find the AI a big step ahead of the older AI, had an amazing IMSA multiclass race in Road Atlanta where I saw some great behavior from the AI that wasn't there before. Concretely, the AI really defends the inside a lot more, and overtakes with much more security (also in multiclassing). Still, not perfect, but much better. I still need time to get everything out the new AI configuration options. Road Atlanta looks superb in VR btw.

I didn't properly tested all new cars but I am hugely impressive by how awesome the Audi Gt3 Gen2 feels (I wasn't really expecting much from this car to be honest) and the Lmp2 (maybe my favorite addition). Group A is also much much improved: I first tested the Audi (which is absolutely great!) and was so impressed that I went back to the BMW and Mercedes and can confirm these cars feel a lot better than previously, much more planted (considering what they are). I have also fallen in love with the new Lamborgini Trofeo class, huge fun, find it better than the Gt3 variant.

As negatives, the limitation to 32 cars in championships (I honestly hope this is just a bug... since I mostly play championships) and specially, my biggest disappointment: the UI configuration screen in VR hasn't changed a bit. By far my biggest gripe with the game, I am stuck with UI elements that are either not what I want nor they are where I want them to be.

My first drive was with the ultima road car at Nords I wanted to do a comparison with something that I am familiar with. It was a joy to drive, even though you need to be more careful with the tires there is so much more information coming from them that it is actually easier to drive, braking is so much more controllable now that I can feel the tires, the same with balancing the throttle. It's the first time in AMS2 that I actually just enjoyed the driving, smiling lap after lap. After 2 hours I had to force myself to try something else.

I had a quick blast on Sebring with the GT3 Lamborghini. It felt good for what it is but GT3s are not really something I enjoy.
Sebring is stunning but very frame hungry, I need to play around with my settings to get it running smoothly.

With my back starting to ache I had a quick blast around Oulton Park in the convertible GT classic Corvette, which was fantastic, the FFB between cars seems a lot better balanced now.

The sound was good, especially the tire sounds seem greatly improved.

Graphics for me seem a little too washed out in some lighting, colour wise I would prefer something between 1.5 and 1.6 but that's personal taste and something I can fix myself. The water and particle effects look great.

The UI isn't something important to me, it looks fine and the menus scroll properly now so I would say it was a job well done.

I really would like to see more thought going into the custom championships a feature I use often, we really need to be able to use the presets when making them.

Overall I would say It's definitely the best update by a long way, I am very happy with it. The Reiza team have done an excellent job.

First of all I had no expectations because expectations give you a colored image, which gives you the illusion that something is disappointing. My first impression is that it has become a game changer in a positive way, you feel the contact between tires and the asphalt and now more than ever be carefull on the firt round with cold tires, there is less grip on the asphalt, but I have the impression that I can search for the limits more until it is punished by a skid. The sound has really improved as well as the graphics in detail. Today I will test it more and better and also test the AI, but so far I am really impressed in a positive way, Team REIZA thanks for the hard work, it was worth the wait:hurrayreiza::hurrayreiza:

Have you deleted/reset your your setups? That usually sorts out any oddities after a big update.
