I've been spending time trying to get this game optimised before I dive into the Brands Hatch DLC in the near future.

    Unfortunately Vsync wont turn on.
    Ive tried:

The settings via steam before I start the game.
My Nvidia inspector Automobilista settings (The one I REALLY want to use becasue it has smoothness and anti tear option also)
    Nvidia control panel
Even my config file says vsync=1

None of these can force Vsync on.

    Please help

    update: SOLVED

After turning the vsync on and off, restarting the game, eventually it has recognized I want it turned on.

It's looking smooth now.. ready for Brands Hatch

    Update 2:
    NOT SOLVED!

I ran the game again today and Vsync refuses to turn on.

Any ideas why sometimes it works, but most of the times it doesn't?
    Thanks

    Thanks.
    SOLVED again.. I think !

I always run games in full screen mode yes.
I use Nvidia inspector to enhance graphics where possible also.

What I've discovered is, if I start steam normally, Vsync wont work in Automobilista.
If I run Steam As An Administrator, then the Vysnc works!

Anyone else having problems try it out.

Just did a couple of tests to check this on early access and beta version. Wasn't needed to run AMS with Vsync on.

    Maybe
Maybe it's my Nvidia inspector making things a bit more complicated.
For me as I say, I couldn't get Vsync to work on two occasions, but starting steam up as an administrator fixed the problem.
Now though, even if i start steam with out admin rights, the Vsync stays on... for now at least!

I still think that if I do have this issue again., then starting as administrator will hopefully fix it.
