In game in the car selection page it would be very helpful to see KERS/DSR but also stick or paddle shifter type. In general more car info would be very helpful.
But how do you know if its paddle sequential or stick ? I actually thought the Rocco was paddle but moved my camera down to see the stick move as i shifted ! I was driving it wrong , now i need to go in each car that is sequential and look to see if it has a stick moving as i shift be a whole heap easier if the game told me before i start driving each car
it will all be fixed as alot of car menu's isn't finished yet. Animations are far from finished also, just go in VR and look at the guys leggs shuved into the corner like a cripple haha.
Just to note, sequential doesn't necessarily mean paddle shifting (nor really clutchless either). For example, there are the gear shifters that are sequential (i.e. pull back to upshift, push forward to downshift). Sequential means that you cannot skip gears. i.e. you can't downshift from 5th down to 3rd directly. That could be implemented with paddles or a forward/backward gear shifter.
I know, that's why I want more info in the car selection page. Blip on downshift info would be handy.
+1 for for more shifter info on the Ui and if considered please indicate which cars have power steering or not.. ie. P-Sequential S-Sequential M-Sequential Regrading P2P.. 1. Do the Ai use P2P..? It seems they don't and I can make up a lot of positions with this advantage. 2. For a 10 lap race why do I have 15 allocated P2P in the stock car category..? Maybe this could be scaled based on the laps or time etc..
I’ve noticed the stock car using P2P after investigating why they were hauling past me on a straight.
