    Edit :
unfortunately the hybrid is to be recalled soon, as it wasn't working as intended and was not exactly the hybrid I was hoping for.

    Hi Racers

Introducing a new Custom FFB file for you to try.

I have been working on a way to combine the strengths of my two favorite madness engine custom file creators .
This hybrid file models Karsten's intricate SilverRaw system, that is tried and true on here, and also on PC2 forums , ( where ive got to know Karsten and his methods ) and combines it with PopsRacer's Seta tire model from PC2 ( Pops hasn't yet jumped down the Ams2 rabbit hole.)

I've always felt Ams2 lacks tire feel and is jarring on track bumps , on my wheel anyway , I've never enjoyed added Scrub effects, due to the tendencies to produce rapid frequency vibrations.
Scrub has been replaced by direct tire forces tuned by PopsRacer.
I have tuned this to suit my T300Rs , and my tastes for less harsh road bumps , more sensation of grip and less fighting of chassis momentum and an overall smoother experience and tactile feel.
Its all very tunable to taste with in file scales. This isn't meant to have exaggerated canned effects.

As this is based on the solid foundations of SilverRaw , please check out the custom FFB thread for how to apply it, if you are not familiar, and definitely try SilverRaw out if you haven't already. Automobilista 2 Custom Force Feedback - Overview & Recommendations

Special thanks to Karsten and PopsRacer who put months of work and passion into there files. Anyone can test , but making this stuff up is not easy. There's probably some redundant code, and I'm sure Karsten will be able to pin point those. ;) and things could change with dev updates.

Race on Reiza fans , were all in this together . :):hurrayreiza:

I too have a T300, and I can’t wait to try this. I’m familiar with your dialogue with KH from the PC2 thread as I went back to PC2 for a couple of months. Thanks for all your hard work.

    Version 2 is up.
    hopefully no errors
I can feel the grip loss on marbles with this. remember this is aimed at lighter is better, the lower you can handle the gain being the more grip variance you feel.

I was pretty happy with mine but tried just to give feedback and now it is my go to seetting; as i feel more the car and even it make me to gain a sec somehow.
Just a little issue with feeling about losing the rears could be increased.
    My in game ffb settings (not optimized but changed to be in sync with this file);
    Gain: 85
    LFB: 40
    FX: 50
    Damping: 10

Thank you, keep up the good work.(also gave some credits on RD)

So good to get some feedback, it’s impossible for me to know what a TS feels like, I may need to add a file with guesstimate of scales to suite stronger wheels.

you could try increasing this scale up a couple of points to 1.0
(over_steer_scale 0.8) #How much the reiza rack used for oversteer(and a little understeer) is scaled. Best that it is set so the forces of the racks , and potentially the master scale above it.

May satisfy those that need stronger fx.
    its all guess work really.

unfortunately the hybrid is to be recalled soon, as it wasnt working as intended and was not exactly the hybrid I was hoping for. it was feeling ok by happy accident, but was more a tweaked Silver Raw minus scrub and Seta wasnt working fully. Its proving difficult to get tire forces to gel with both Silver and the physics of Ams2.:(
With an Reiza update due, I think its best to shelve the public experiment to see what, if anything changes to default FFB.
I will tinker still in my own time :D
