I just tried the karts some days ago. First the "normal" ones and they were quite ok imo. Not my cup of tea I guess, but it was ok. However, then I tried the superkarts on a small, not just karts track and boy......what a ride! I just can't stop smiling, these things are so immersive and fun to drive! And I have never been a big kart fan, but this is insane. If you try these on tracks like Salvador, Velo Citta (narrow, short circuits) you're going to be rewarded! Thanks Reiza.
I haven't raced them much but yes I agree with you, they are an absolute blast to drive. Last year I did a track experience driving 125cc superkarts at a track in the UK and I can certainly confirm they are totally insane! I think I reached about 90mph That was just 125cc singles, the ones in the game are 250cc twins which are way faster. It's a real shame with some kart sims coming out that they haven't included karts like the superkarts as well, simply because they are great fun (the others can get a bit boring after a while), and also (I hate to say it) they are not exactly the safest racing vehicle in the world so better to crash in the sim world (having witnessed a poor guy end up in hospital when I was on that experience day...)
The Superkarts have been substantially improved over AMS development relative to its original release, nice to see it getting a bit more love
