    Where did you get the steel ball bearings? I'd like to try what you did with my T300. Less friction should let the motor last longer before it heats up too much.

    Thanks for all you guys are doing with the FFB mods.
    I think a base FFB for each type of wheel would be a good idea. Fanatec, Thrustmaster T series, Logitech, etc.

    So far, for me, v. 38 feels like a very good baseline for the Fanatec DD1. Formula V2, McLaren GT3 v2 and a custom classic formula rim.
    Tested with the following cars:
    Formula Classic Gen 3, Formula Ultimate, Porsche GT1 and McLaren GT3. Spa, Imola and Nordschleife.
    Same settings for all, I only adjust gain for the different cars.

    Great, this is exactly what makes sense to post for info in that first post, along with the file, so I will add direct links from the descriptions.

    No problem,
    I think we will post multiple for each base, so prob. at least 1 more coming for the SC2 soon.
    Then also for DD1/DD2 and so on, hopefully suggestions for improvements & the actually best versions will be easier to find!

    Hi Karsten . Glad to see you are continuing your amazing work on these custom files . Have been out of the game for a while now and things seem to have moved on massively ! Have to say I don't know where to start now , could you recommend a file for a Fanatec CSL elite please ?
    Thanks in advance .

    Good to see you back!

    I would say the 38.1 version. Then it's highly subjective if mid or high is your preference and your feedback on good/bad and adjustments is appreciated!

    Guys, I will just post the files and with comments that you've posted about so far and will keep doing so.
    Also, any time there's a request to "post it", I'll just do so no questions asked.

    I was luckily able to source local, the only non rip off supply in my country happened to be in my town. You will just need to google micro bearing supplies in your area. The big bearing merchants were 10x the price.
    Otherwise try eBay or Ali

    Would you know what size those bearings were?

    Just psoted v41:
    * Improves transition from grip to loss of grip.
    * Finally works well for all cars. GT1's feel much better, while P3's & Caterhams still also work well.

    I hope your values from whatever versions you already use can be just brought over.
    If you do so, and it feels good, please post so we can update or add to the list in the 1st post.
    We are currently missing good, specific files for at least:

    * T300/TX
    * CSW
    * CSL
    * TSPC

    Damn just shut down for the night, been trying to fine tune settings with .39.
    Was struggling to find good oversteer scale. was in the negative as anything close to neutral was to overpowering in some tail happy cars

    You should be able to copy over your values to the new file.
    Reg. the oversteer, remember the lfb might be able to help you, depending on how high you are on it already.

    I think it’s already higher than most,
    It’s just a matter of find sweet spot.
    -0.1 is still to strong with something like the v8 supercar.
    -1.0 is too weak to give initial feedback.
    so somewhere in the middle will work.
    I have coef at 1.0 for linear timing.

    For me it's easier to help if you do it in v41, I'm afraid.

    i did a
    very quick test of .41 with v8 supercar .
    all default apart from matched master rack to what i had been using previously for consistency (0.94, though perhaps i should just set all files to a nice round 1.00)

    it felt very tactile and oversteer felt better, i also did a quick test with coef at 1.0 and it may have felt better. but early days.

    "Silver Raw 6.6.5.41 - Momentum Rack 5.2" - LOW

    Hey @Karsten Hvidberg you kill me ... ;)

    Logitech G920

    Long test at SPA with all (all all) car and without change the value in the file (default LOW) ... in game 50-80-85-0 ... for me is the best felt of all the time ... i concord with @Kuku Maddog, very tactile and with a super sensitive oversteer ... and is not optimized in the value but i don't now if i want optimized :D
