AMS2's inclusion of Historic track versions are renewing my interest in old-school racing content. It's not just the tracks themselves but, the details and overall feeling of the track environment. Very well done Reiza.

 

I like the precision you need in driving to go fast around the track. No damned rumbling over curbs or asphalted run offs, but hard on the edge and a little bit to much on the side, the high curbs (or grass traps) kick you off the track. I am just loving this

 

Would absolutely love to see Daytona and Sebring in the game, I just know reiza will do an amazing job with them.

yay i read every dev update but i must be blind, i assume the pic with the porsche is daytona?. This is one of the few sims that actually runs really well for me in vr so i cant wait .

I admit I cant remember ever driving long beach but people seem to love it so i cant wait , have very vague memories of it from pc2 but that was a long time ago .

 

ha, I remember it best from driving there with Papyrus' IndyCar Racing (the todays historic 1992 track layout ). Later, with the current layout, had some driving with IDT ChampCarChallenge in EASports F1 Challange 1999-2002 season.
But nothing was better than the 1992 IndyCar track and game

 

oh yes, spent lots of hours on that track ! Really liked Indycar Racing. Happy days !

 

That time not only the game was great, also real life racing!
I loved the IndyCar / Cart / ChampCar races

 

The last many years all iRacing members could get this track for a few nickels because the track was sold as an unfinished socalled "tech track".
Only the tarmac was finished gripwise and graphically.
All the boundaries and buildings round the track remained as the raw laser scanning was.

ByTheWay: Interesting track - but with a "hairpin" I was more or less unable to get through with my 100% finger controlled wheel

 

An "Australian Pack" would be really good.
A Supercars licence, perhaps historic Gen1, say VP Commodore & EB Falcon, VT & AU?
Gen 2, which could have the VF, FG, S60, E63 & Altima (2015 season!).
Future Gen 3 (Mustang, Camaro etc...) when that happens next year.
A track pack to go with it? Say, Phillip Island, Barbagallo, Sandown, Sydney MP, Gold Coast, Symons Plains, Pukekohe?
Could be awesome.

Yeah, I always hate the Stadium Super Trucks in AMS1.
But as soon as I took place behind the wheel, holy,
Beside the dirt series I hope that they will find their way back to AMS2, and of course with Surfers Paradise / Gold Cost circuit.
