I would like to know if in Automobilista 2 I could remove the virtual steering wheel, because I want to bring the camera closer to the panel to have a better view of the track, but the animation of the steering wheel gets in the way. I looked in the game options and didn't find it.

If I remember right this has been asked several times - but at the moment its impossible.
I dont know if it can solve anything for you but I have moved the seat forward and slightly up so I only see a few mm of top of the wheel.
    But no instruments/meters

It is possible for sure but there are a few cars that don't get removed for some silly Madness reason.
Here is the option. The line above the highlighted one ;)

Remember not every car doesn't remove the rim. On some cars the dashboard is intergrated with the rim itself, so yeah.

For cars that have a display integrated as part of the wheel (modern formula cars typically) the wheel isn't removed, but remains visible to show the info on the wheel.

That's one poor reason (from the engine) but there are also cars like one of the Ginetta's that have a standard 3 spoke rim with no display and its fixed and visible when set to off. There are a couple of others also that don't have dashes on their wheels yet the rims are still fixed and visible when set to off.
Even for cars with dash displays on their wheels, the option to turn them off should still work and no wheel and no dash should be displayed, just like one of the P2,3 or 4 cars (cant remember atm), it has a display on the wheel yet the wheel disappears when set to off so there is no dash visible (this is how i want it, i use SimHub)!!! Having the fixed or spinning wheel really ruins the immersion.

    A slight correction to this.
Reading other posts then my advice/info above is 100% wrong!

ByTheWay: But I got a like x1 for my "advice" :)
