Chevette Livery pack here > Chevette Livery Pack - Download Inside ---------- I'm in the middle of creating a 'Full' replacement livery pack for the 65 Minis, but I've quickly made this one. An ode to the Legend, Murray Walker. I'm releasing this one early on its own, but I will update this topic when the others are finished. You can then just re-download and overwrite, this Murray Walker livery will stay of course. Download: https://www.tekneil.com/downloads/ams2/livery/mini_coopers_1965.zip Extract/Unzip the folder, then place it (mini_coopers_1965 folder) in: :\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\Vehicles\Textures\CustomLiveries\Overrides\ So you will then have: :\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\Vehicles\Textures\CustomLiveries\Overrides\mini_coopers_1965\TekNeil_Sim_Racing Doing so will overwrite any custom 65 Mini liveries you already have. Let me know what you think, and please give credit if used in any media. All will follow here when finished. #2 Esso Blue #3 Esso Yellow #4 Esso Pink #5 Gulf Orange/White #6 Gulf Orange #7 Gulf Orange/Blue #8 Pirelli Claret/Cream #9 Pirelli Claret #10 Pirelli Claret/Black #11 Yokohama #12 Yokohama #13 Yokohama #14 REIZA Studios #15 TSR Red (Max images allowed reached here) #16 TSR Blue #97 Murray Walker Legend Edition.
Hi! if I can give you some advice. It's a good idea to create a thread so that you can group and update your work
Ah, I prefer separate topics for the more descriptive and specific titles. EDIT: Damn, just realised I can't change the title... PS: Added more liveries. Please let me know what you think. I've been unsure about these due to the period... I wondered if they were worth it or not as I've tried to keep them relatively simple. Same download link, updated. Now added: #2 Esso Blue #3 Esso Yellow #4 Esso Pink #5 Gulf Orange/White #6 Gulf Orange #7 Gulf Orange/Blue #8 Pirelli Claret/Cream #9 Pirelli Claret #10 Pirelli Claret/Black
Very nice tribute and lovely skins! Is the .xml file in your zip needed? I notice it is a slightly different file name than the one already placed there by AMS 2.
Thanks, I'm glad some people like em, I'm not too keen myself lol. Though the next set of Minis are my fave so far. Nearly ready. Glad you like em Marc. And yep, the included .xml (Specifically named differently to the base file) is needed to identify and correlate to the in-game cars. The base _dist .xml file is the one that could actually be deleted with no impact on the game (Modified skins or not). Latest skins are nearly done, my fave so far. Very simple, but look great I think. Will update here when I update the zip file. Edit: I dunno actually, the Murray Walker is one that I'm happy with. Tried to make it look classy for the Legend.
I tried these out on a full grid at Monaco Azure Circuit at 6am and they looked fantastic, really great work.
Ha, that's where I ran my first race with these liveries @OMiT , I thought it would be good to see them buzzing around the tight twisties! Glad you guys like em. Just got to finish up the last few individual cars. I'm considering dropping one from each group too (Esso, Gulf, Pirelli, Yokohama etc) just because we still have the issue of the A.I duplicating things. It would mean I'd have to either come up with another group (Got a few oldskool ones in mind), or create more individual cars...Will see what I think as I carry on.
Final cars done to complete the pack. Download link updated, simply overwrite the existing or refer to first post if you haven't used any of them at all. I feel like I've rushed these a bit, could have maybe got more individual liveries in, but they're a start at least, for now. #14 REIZA Studios #15 TSR Red #16 TSR Blue
My first car was a white mini, which is a bummer because I've been using your liveries to make my first video....back to square one (I'll be in the white one!)
Oh whoops! But great to hear all the same haha. Good luck with your first video too! Can be fun putting them together. Always good to have a tidy folder structure on your PC for cut/edited clips/projects etc. And being sure to 'Save' your project often. Once you get into a routine it becomes a faster/more efficient process too. Good luck.
Just bumping this up, as I realise that there have probably been some deleting of game folders, and hence liveries being removed.
