    Thunderstorm conditions on Brand's GP
    It felt like I was driving with DRS always open or that I had lost all downforce even though I didn't touch the setups.

    Ah okay, interesting. Thx for the information! Some cars are still very sensitive to the tire pre-heater, it makes the impression, normally in the dry.
    I think, you definetly drove on wets, right? (Maybe they're also over-sensitive to heat/pre-heating)

    Yes I was in the Wets. I think the tires were still alright.
    One detail I felt is the wheel was lighter compared Q, hence me saying it felt like driving without downforce.

    Track: Nuerburgring short GP
    Car: Mercedes DTM 92
    AI: 100/20
    Weather: Sunny
    AI Cars are using Wet Tyres, so am I 4 Sec ahead each Lap
    Default Settings are "Wet Tyres" and not "automatic choose by weather"

    Session was P 15 mins thunderstorm 9 or 10 am Q 15 mins thunderstorm 10 am
    Race 10 laps Thunderstorm 1pm all normal time speed
    . 4 AI at 110/100 race was 4 AI midfield 8 or more humans. prob 10 (need to check replay if reqd). May run same repeat/session later without AI .(player numbers dependant) Ai were racing each other 2 cars wide in Q and a little obstructive, may have cause incidents in race but driver errors also. I raced till end chasing p1 (rune) and ai still of pace at end. not as big a gap as last report

    Yes, DRS and P2P, also evaluating strategic benefit with P2P.

    EDIT: I'm not sure about the F-Classic G1 boost button, though. I don't think, they're already utilizing it properly...

    Ran same test and 1 Ai at 120/100 + 2 humans Ai off pace by several seconds. I ran Sigma this time and Tyres were fine for me. Ai used DRS at 2 point Brands Hatch.
    Ran Merc group C observations were: at spa 93, 100/90 clear sessions 15 ai 3 humans beat ai (normal i guess, sure it would be harder at 105 upwards) in Q. Ai crashed 3 laps in a row on start straight from lap 2 onwards, may have been more. Tyres here did seem different from Q to R car was more sensitive, may have been me in Q with low temps made the difference. Easy to go over rear temps in race and make car loose on lap 1-2 . .at 170-175 temps cars fine to me. Pole sitter and Muz- did not report any tyre issue

    Getting into the 2019 Stock Car. For now I am driving 100/70 at a few different tracks to get a feel. A lot of fun these cars are at the right track.. I noticed at some tracks we have similar pace and then when I go to Donington National I am easily 2 seconds a lap quicker.. Maybe worth a little look at some stage..

    Add: From what I can tell they are slow in T7 Mcleans and into the final chicane (Goddards)..

    Since the last AI update I have always to fight with the cars behind me, does'nt matter if AI run on 100/100,100/10, 90/10,90/0 or other, this effects only practice and quali but not the race :-(
    The AI is way to aggressiv, no fun if you only fight with the cars in your back and not the ones in front of you

    Notes: Always on the rolling start the right hand lane will go off the track the left hand lane will go into the right hand lane in the final corner. If you are starting P2,4,6.. from the right hand lane the drivers in P1,3,5.. will move over and hit you..

    LOL. I have noticed the AI are generally pretty aggressive in and leaving the pit exit these days.

    AI still gives up once you Pass them, was hoping this would be fixed with the latest update. I have to slow down once in first place just so they remain in sight. Any chance this could be looked at? And is the AI a Learning AI or just Programmed to follow a route? Still my favourite game to date, Please keep up the good work :)

    AI is not adaptive, so if you are able to pass all the AI you will continue to put distance between yourself and them because you are faster than they are. You need a higher strength setting so the fastest AI are not slower than you. They won't speed up or slow down to stay near you as happens in some games.

    Hi Marc Collins,

    Thankyou for responding, when I pass an AI car, it's like I have a nitro cheat mode enabled. Even on max strength. I know I can be fast, but not that much faster, it's like a Ferrari racing a Fiesta. The AI should at least be able to keep up, imo.
