atleast for me, when i pick in-game recording resolution or 4k, scale turns into 10-130, any other, 10-50

 

Another vid with 1080. Better, but only in cockpit view.

 

Doing another test with 720p/60FPS/50MB. Capture looks good. Now uploading straight mp4 output from shadowplay to youtube without intermediate processing. Let's see how it turns out. Stand by...

I wonder if my GTX760 might not be doing such a good job capturing at 1080p as I noticed some artifacts in the captured mp4 upon closer inspection.

I don't get more than 50MB even with 1440p but maybe because I have GTX760.

Wow, thats heavy. I try the same track/car with your view, i use my 720/60/10, and the result is similar bad. But with the 1080'er i have more big slowmotion pixelation in the sky then 720. Both are nothing.

 

So I tried again with 720/60/50 and then downsampled bitrate to 7.5 per youtube recommended upload encoding and is better but not great. I may still fiddle with it but ultimately i just want something acceptable for people who view the video...

What @AMS_SR was saying makes sense regarding the different view and how much the cockpit dominates the screen vs my hood view. So, I'm going to experiment with different post-capture bit rate downsampling to see how much youtube will accept before shredding it.

 

same file as previously ("test", not asses) but this time rendered in movie studio- disabled resample, 240 000 000 bps render average and max, 4k res, basically everything maxed well, there's slightl difference. Latter could use lil color correction

Ultima GTR road version around Bathurst, 2:07.4xy, plenty of more time in the car (I only did handful of laps, 10 maybe). 1080p, 60fps (although YouTube absolutely mangles the video quality). I virtually never upload videos, but this car track combo is quite fun.

 

I saw Reiza's trailer videos (V10), also on youtube, but there are no pixelation, inside and outside.. its perfect. How do they do that ?

to be honest, to me it doesnt look better than my video (ohh i compared it to their launch trailer atleast in terms on quality):

i use shadowplay with high mbps (i use 100-130) and vegas (ex sony) movie studio

 

Onboard + Helmet overlay + TrackIR

 

turn off hud for even more immersion
