all white or all red cars in showroom happened also to me, but the problem was that the dds I made was not exactly 4096x4096 pixels (I merged a layer with a logo in it near the lower edge of the main body and that caused the final dds to be sightly bigger than 4096x4096).

if all of this was a bit easier to understand and figure out i would be makings skins left and right 24/7.
i made all DPi skins in AC.

what we need is the ability to control the camera in showroom. im now making skins and the most tedious thing is actually reloading the livery in game and then waiting for the showroom to show me the part i need to see.

 

Yeah Project CARS 2 had a photo mode within the showroom. It was glorious.

 

first skin finished. its a terrible process to make them though due to showroom. at this point i just load the car on some track and check with photo mode. it is a missed opportunity to not have a showroom, or maybe even an extra launcher so we can paint.
cause im willing to move from AC to AMS2, just needs to be easier for creators.

Btw it's super awesome that custom liveries now have tire sidewall markings

 

It would be cool if we could also attach driver names and suit/glove colours to the Liveries too, with the pit crew also having the same colours.

 

Hi all, After hours of great frustration I am having a hard time making a carskin. Whatever I do I get to see white or red cars in the showroom even though I entered corect xml. i use gimp.. dx1 mipmaps......
4096 x 6144 which are the templates. what is going wrong is this a bug?

If I had to guess, the texture has to be 4096x4096 and not 4096x6144 like you said on your post, try that and get back to us

 

how do I change that in gimp?? the template that I download from Reiza is 4096x6144

I think every car have that 4096x6144
But I try to do the bmw Gt4

 

it doesn't matter the minicooper is a coincidence though.....4069x4096

but also have a red skin there in the showroon while doing everything right with the text. bug?
