is it me or is this car simply way too grippy, it feels like cheating or playing some arcade game from the amusement arcades, first time i jumped in at oulten i beat the real world pole position in irl british gt by nearly 2 seconds, no practice or anything, just threw it recklessly around corners and it actually stuck

Madness Engine can only realistically simulate bias plies or dirt tires. It's very good at those, but very poor at everything else.

Happy to see the evidence below here for your bold statement. :)

    Happy to oblige.

Drive a bias ply car, then one that isn't.

I was driving this car recently at Cascais and was losing traction without trying.

What are your TC and ABS settings?

Tried this car briefly at Interlagos. On lap 1, tires have super-glue on them. Once I get a couple of laps in they lost a fair amount of traction and felt "normal" (i.e. like this car always has in AMS2).

The engine isn't the limiting factor, it's what you code into the physics part of the engine. Reiza has already shown what they were able to do with the gMotor engine and they already have improved the feel in the Madness engine a lot.

Just be patient, Reiza will deliver.

I wrote that already in another thread: I think people complaining about grip are just really good drivers and knowing their way around the setup screens. Because for me it's no problem to lose control of the car :D

On the other side i was also told that grip levels are too high atm for at least some cars.
    I can't tell, don't know what it's like driving a GT car :)

All of the GT3s have too much overall grip and/or too much grip at high slip angles.

Objective evidence for this (other than it being blindingly obviously when driving them) the Nordschleife 24 Hour GT3 qualifying lap record, from 2018, is 8:09, the time trial world record in AMS2 is 7:54.
