    Yeah i have everything mapped but no text on screen to say what the setting is.
    In the retail version i get a text on screen saying abs low/high or rollbar 200nm even things like pit limiter enabled and so on as i press basically everything has a text but in the beta i get nothing.
    So i was assuming that in the files somewhere there must be something like with realfeel turning the speech on.

    @2ndLastJedi Have a look under Settings > Display: make sure Message center is on in your beta. That should be the one you're looking for hopefully.

    @Renato Simioni can you give a light on this please
    A friend in our EEC forum is having issues with his wheel losing FFB in AMS all of sudden, usually after qualify sessions (online) this is happening with any car.
    His log says this
    hwinput.cpp 2537: FFB:: Restarting... Current Value 1
    hwinput.cpp 5180: FFB: Exiting, getting lock
    hwinput.cpp 5204: FFB: Exiting, releasing lock
    hwinput.cpp 2544: FFB:: locking
    hwinput.cpp 4005: FFB:: Crashed
    hwinput.cpp 2552: FFB:: releasing lock
    hwinput.cpp 10129: Entered HWInput::post()
    hwinput.cpp 5180: FFB: Exiting, getting lock
    hwinput.cpp 5204: FFB: Exiting, releasing lock
    hwinput.cpp 9710: Entered HWInput::Setup()

    Any idea about the reason? He was using 360hz ffb option btw, he didnt know he should use 180hz

    Is there any way to set the max steering torque that will equal to 100% FFB output? Rfactor 2 and iracing currently have this, and it's great for higher powered DD wheels.

    Having this would be much handier than having to use Motec and manually set the MaxForceAtSteeringRack for each car!

    .
    I think that is already mentioned here earlier. Renato said all cars already have max steering torque calculated in realfeel ink. They just added 20 to 30 percent. So just reduce by that amount if u have a DD wheel and adjust strength in your wheel software or ingame.

    Good to know, thanks. I think you should actually add the value to the existing value instead of taking it away though, as that will give the bigger dynamic range of FFB.

    @Niels Heusinkveld will this 20-30 percent change be accurate for a 20Nm OSW wheel? Also, you mentioned before that you would provide a clip free version of RealFeel ini for OSW owners at some point in the future. Is there any progress on that? Thanks.

    EDIT: I multiplied the max steering force for each car by 1.75, and it feels great!

    I've an old dfp gt logitech, tried to update drivers with latest 5.10 from logitech site as suggested in last AMS patches, but after installing i still see in drivers details Version 5.9.129.0 - 27/04/2010. Is there a way to manually remove this and install the newers !?!?!?!?

    Do I need to install them to get any improvement to this already good ams FFB with latest patches ???

    thanks

    Hi all. Apologies if this has already been covered. New to the forum and new to AMS.
    Is there any way of changing the RealFeel settings via the numeric keypad and have the voice tell you what your changing like in rFactor? Have tried changing it, and am sure that changes in the FFB are occurring, but after a while you forget what you've changed - the voice telling you what you'd done was quite handy in the original rFactor game.

    Look in the first few lines of your Realfeel.ini file in the main AMS directory (same place as .exe).

    Just following on from this...does anyone have any quick tips for configuring the controler ini file for:
    Higher frequency ffb - 720hz? I'm still unsure how to enable...
    Also, what are peoples favourite menu setttings for the ffb? i.e. Ffb type...

    Highest frequency you can have is 360Hz. Can be chosen from controller menu.
    Best menu setting would be Pure FFB, 360Hz. In case you have some framerate stuttering, select Pure 180Hz.

    You just need to reassing "gas". Go into "controller" menu, first on the list is "throttle".
    Click on that, make sure you are not holding down throttle pedal, then press is with your foot.
    That should sort it out.
