Is it just me or is the McLaren F1 LM terrible?

No, I generally don't tweak a lot. I can try to delete again but it probably won't do anything, as I have never saved a setup for this one.

I've deleted the tuning setups file again just in case and will test later.

For me, just deleting the tubing files was not enough. I had to delete the entire AMS2 folder in my documents.
The Ginetta GT5 was undrivable, especially under braking.
So you might want to rename/delete the entire folder to be sure

I haven't deleted the folder at all since the last major version so will definitely try that.

I deleted everything and the car does feel better, seems to have more grip. However, the brakes still locks up too easily and the brake understeer is still there.

Glad to hear! And yeah this is indeed a question right now… trust that Crimson has told the big boss about it :)

Rowan Atkinson crashed a McLaren F1 twice, and hes quite a professional race car driver. That alone speaks for itself. The cars is drivable and even enjoyable if you do treat it for what it is, a twitchy super sports cars for public roads, not a full breed race car for tracks.

Well, and for the financial success of the Mr. Bean franchise.

I could buy that the brakes don't seem powerful enough given that they were upgraded from the road version of the F1. Maybe something for Renato to check. Still, doesn't feel too much off:

    Good night. ;)

I did some tuning setup and got something much more reasonable. Biggest thing was changing the brake bias 50/50 (I think I also did some small camber changes). I still think something is a bit off, but between deleting the ams2 directory and the setup tweaks, this is much more reasonable.
