In replays (trackside cams) sometimes I watch the race from the grand stands (VR) but whereas I want to watch the track and cars all other spectators watch only me!!! That is distracting and creepy…
Disadvantage of the billboard people. It's one of the reason you get good performance out of the game, though. ^^'
Yeah, I like billboard people, because I like good performance. They just shouldn’t stare at me… I think for such replays they should eliminate them or make billboards where you see people from behind.
So if Lewis Hamilton stood in the stands watching the race which way would the crowd be looking? It's a realism feature that proves you are a driving god. If you were rubbish they'd be looking the other way
I don't like it either. It triggers something in me that doesn't feel good.. but I have some schizophrenia-thingies, so yeah.. Hello Asperger Thats why I don't watch the replays that much. It creeps me out.
When you enter the pits at Velo Citta, there is a photograph on the right side of the Pitlane Entry, that sometimes makes some pictures, when you enter, smile for the camera and keep it cool! :->
Hhhmmm, I understand this. There’s one guy at Bathurst who gets right up in my face when in VR, he’s clearly some sort of ruffian as his face is heavily pixelated. I’ve passed on his information to the relevant authorities but so far, no action taken.
They will take action as soon as he will commit speeding over the mountain when it's off season and the track a public road
Like the trees, the spectators are flat 2D objects, that rotate so that they're always facing you. It's less resource-heavy than having them as 3D polygons, and the result is that the stands always look full, no matter the angle you're looking at them. I prefer this to how many crowds are in Assetto Corsa for example, where they're also flat 2D, but they don't rotate with you, resulting in them really looking like cardboard cut-outs, when viewed from many angles.
