I've not used AM2 for a couple of months, tried to get driving this morning and I found all my previous bindings were toast and I can't set them back up again. Well, I can set what I want, but when I leave the menu and go back in again they've all reverted to bizarre assignments I've never made. This wouldn't be too bad, I could still drive, but no matter what buttons I set for the gears up and down nothing at all works. I have auto clutch set on as I can't use pedals so it shouldn't be that. Also I've noticed my button box is reporting (in menu) as being the same device as my wheel and I have duplicate buttons, which must be part of the same problem. I've tried defaulting everything, just the same. Could someone please let me know how to nuke the assignments once and for all so I can start again? And does anyone know why this might have happened? Try : user, docs folder, ams2 delete it. Reboot pc, Start steam , Ams2 , Re assign. May help. may need to restart ams2 twice inc settings to get full enabled ( happen in past this end) verify files in steam as admin then same again if above steps dont work
Sadly while this did indeed clear everything I still cannot get any button working for the gears, and my button box, which has always worked, works in everything else, is still seen as the same controller as my wheel, I should add I've tried with button box disconnected, still no gears. And I've tried different control sets. So, no more AM2 for me unless anyone has any other ideas?
Hi i've got same issues trying to remap my T300RS... well i solved by configuring the wheel as a generic one. i think that the "pre-made" device profiles are "locked", they don't allow key bindings, while the generic one is fully customizable
