    Lets make an exercise:
If max force applied to a calibrated brake pedal is roughly equivalent to 30kg you'd be around 7 grams per step in a linear response at 12 bit or 0.5 g/step on a 16 bit. And it assume more critical values when the max force applied is reduced during calibration.
I'm afraid no one on earth can take benefit for more than 12 bit resolution for pedals. Even 12 bit for left foot braking (for right handers) means too much

My Pedals have 16 bit controller why I'm so slow?

Yeah I agree. I haven’t really ever understood 8-bit+ in pedals as far as performance goes. I think more than 8-bit has more to do with how you can still achieve 256+ steps even if you have a rather aggressive curve. But surely you can achieve that with 10 to 12. So I’m also not sure why 16-bit would be useful. Maybe if you limit a 90kg load cell to 30kg in software, you still have loads of steps even with a curve. Just surplus like in color grading and audio production. In the end you only need so much to enjoy the result. But the processing part needs extra so you don’t get banding etc

    +1:)
i'm bad @math so can't argue about that.
I hit the brakes till i hear the tyres scream,so i know, that is the limit!:D
TBH i have never made up my mind about that till some guys come along with that "sensivity" thang.
I'm a driver no engineer....i try to adapt to what is given to me.
sorry english is only my second language:)

    Thanks.:)
Then maybe the wheel itself showing +- 1800 "something" above is 16bit - because as can be seen then the value in midposition is showing 32730 and 2 x 32730 = 65460 - which is pretty close to your 16bit steps of 65536 positions.
Hehe so maybe my wheel isnt that low end as I thought :D

It effects the RSR whilst driving. Honestly, your response is hardly surprising. Every time someone comes up with anything remotely relating to an issue you come along with your untested conjecture ignoring everything anyone else has posted to claim everything is golden.

Also our conjecture of assuming controls/axis issues wasn't correct. Like stated, it was as much speculation. Let's be fair here, nobody has stated, that there is no issue, but the discussion was more about what was causing it and in this case, Reiza has a lead already, so let us put this to rest, it will be solved. :)

I guess it dont matters so much - but the starting point on the green line on your amazing scientific graphic illustration of the liniar Sensitivity 50 should be 0(zero).
As I have tried to show here.

ByTheWay: I also think that the starting point of your unlinear Sensitivity of 20 should be 0.
Good graphics by the way :D

Yes, that's what the issue is about. You missed the point here, why do you think, the red arrow and red lines were pointing at the gap :p......It is literally this gap, that people are talking about here. You touch the throttle to 1% and it already puts out torque for (theoretical numbers, it isn't linear anyway with throttle map) 5%, you can imagine.

WELL ACTUALLY your graphs should've reflected the fact that the curves do indeed start from 0 and it's just the first real value that forms that step visualised in the graphs.

    *corrects glasses*

But I guess scientific accuracy was too much to ask.

    1. No

    2. Do you guys really want to discuss something obsolele?

    Once again:
At 50 sensitivity you get instant theroretical 5% torque at 1% throttle input. So the curve doesn't start at 0 but at 5% to illustrate, what the user feels. EDIT: Beneath a present for you!:p

And you probably feel an urgent need to patronize people who think slightly otherwise from you.
Probably also Irritating for other people who just are giving their thoughts about this issue.
But maybe a must for you for some reason or another.

    But lets start again.
The 0/0 starting point on the graph does NOT illustrate the point where "You touch the throttle to 1%".
The 0/0 starting point does illustrate when you havent pressed the throttle pedal at all.
But where I think you are wrong is that you illustrate the next step where you begin to press the throttle as a gap or jump.
A jump up to where the line illustrating the transfer law begins.
I dont think there is a gap at all.

ByTheWay: At least for me it wasnt very hard to vocal this correction to your oppinion without patronizing you. :)

    this. From saturday 9 am
The video was out same day .

    Quote
'Sit and hold the RSR full throttle.
Slowly release throttle to near zero input.
The car is still revving its boll0cks off
    Agreed
@TekNeil + credit to others inc

Post was responsible for my testing.
Whats important here imo is we take onboard observations made by others and rather than disagree or slate we test in a logical fashion to prove or disprove first.

When you push the thing, the other thing full of gear and stuff not do anything, after some time the pistons box, suddedly, start the brum brum, not from the beginning but from a point that do a hell of noise and destroy 500$ of tyres
