I am trying to connect to multiplayer servers but seem to be running into a problem whereby they're all empty once I'm in-game.

I'm using the Steam server browser to find servers. I pick one that has stock content and is populated. The sim loads and I get to pick my car. However, once in the lobby, there is nobody else there and I'm unable to click the drive icon bottom-right.

Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong?

    Many thanks.

WTH, I also created a similar thread re MP servers (Can't enter server. I barely could find any to join, and there's lots of time-wasting activities. @Reiza, is MP/lobby being addressed/improved?

In the meantime, there's good alternatives for MP.

This was discussed here 'Join timeout' and occasional 'back to menu' behavior
When this situation happens it's very likely the server crashed, when they crash they stay on the list. This last week our server crashed more than it usually do and seems like the same happened to others

So these instances point to a problem with the respective servers themselves?

While at it... as I still try joining servers through Steam->Servers, is AMS-lobby now working fine?

Like i`ve said on the other thread:
Yes, the problem is with the server itself.
But even with the server crashing, for some weird reason, it`s not completely shutting down.

So it still shows up on the servers list (ingame, on steam or Virtual Experience portal).

What's odd about that is that I tried a number of servers and all behaved the same. Furthermore, the servers showed an amount of people connected and this number changed, so presumably others were able to join.

Strange, I'll try again at some point.

    Same problem for me!

Pls get that fixed, Reiza. AMS is such a great piece of software so it would be a shame if it couldn't be used online.

    Thx!

Still no luck here. Different servers all give the same results.
