One thing I noticed is that while if you get 3 track violations during a race, you get a drive through, the system doesn't distinguish between a minor violation (slightly off track) to a major one (cutting out an entire chicane). People could use this to just make sure they only do 2 cuts but gain a huge amount of time by doing so.

I've not tested this extensively so maybe this isn't the case on all tracks but I noticed it on one of the chicanes on Montreal - you could just power through it full speed and only get 1 violation but you gain several seconds by doing so.

Well this kind of cut system will never work well. It has to be done in a way that when you cut you get a message that your line was being watched, then compare with your sector times before giving a penalty or warning. The system would need to have a delay in case this stuff happens in the first lap for example so it could compare 5 laps later, or something like that. And also some variables to try to avoid having people abusing this. Like a clear "line" where if you use you get a warning already
Right now it's black and white, at least it's how it looks. It should be gray.

I pretty much always disagree on track limits complaints, but this time even I think this is a bit harsh:

Mendig Berschleife - Time Trial - Opala 86 (ante-penultimate, last but two, or "however it's written" corner)

    20161004155602_1.jpg 20161004155627_1.jpg

It´s so frustrating to nail the whole lap, aim for the last bit of tarmac, and get violation so close to the end...

Hehe, that's what this thread is for. :)
    I'm sure they'll adjust this.

Another one, which is even difficult to point out where the violation is.

Granja Viana 1 - Multiplayer Race - Kart GX390 Race

It happens when placing the car wide for the next corner, not even close to be off track... Yellow arrow is where I think the issue is.

The last corner at Cascavel has very much inconsistency.
Some times you can pass with four wheels after the curb, but if you pass with two wheels, you got a violation. I notice this with Marcas, Montana, F3 and Stock.

I think the "track limit violation" system of AMS is very agressive and I don't like this. Some times you pass with only two wheels after curb and got a penalization. Yesterday I got a Drive Throw when I was overtaking an straggler (pt - retardatário) on "Descida do Lago" at Interlagos.

I will look into specific requests, such as those raised here soon. At present, we're concentrating on Imola development though.

The track limits on Interlagos aren't clear, Can you add a line where they really are, or use the white line bordering the asphalt?

    line2.JPG line1.JPG

The last one is on the line, thus can counted as on track

This coming week I'll review things. So now is definitely the time to post annoyances.

I had a cut-track when crossing the lines with only 2 wheels at Imola '88 in the last chicane, the right-turning part of it. Seemed a bit harsh.

Or if we just had the ability to disable the track limit violations on a server our league admin lives would be so much easier/better. ;)

Alex, I was told some of my fellow racers put in a report about Oulton Park
On turn 4 ( island bend) the fast left hand sweeper just before the hairpin corner, if you go off track on the RHS and travelling so fast the game reports you as going the wrong way on the grass even though there is a fence in the middle of the circuit. this will then give you a DQ which is not great for races.:(

I think also the exit of Westfield Bend (T6) needs a bit of tweaking. seems to be a bit sensitive. I've had 2 wheels on track and gotten pinged for track limits.

Brands GP AIW needs completely redoing due to the online issues.

This concrete is not considered curb. The white concrete is considered curb. I can't see the right rear wheel, but part of it must be being considered off the tarmac there. The AIW is correct.

I checked the AIW and the AIW at least is correct.
