    Hello fellow simracers,

    maybe you can help me.
I'm searching for a way to have an absolutely clean HUD without any information popping up at some point.
When I disable all information in the HUD options there are still two infos popping up:
It's either pit limiter info (when I'm in "HUD off" mode) or time split info (when I'm in "cockpit" mode).
For me, it seems that there is no way to have an absolutely clean HUD.

I also tried to reset to default and set up everything from the beginning. Even deleting documents folders doesn't change anything when I disable everything. There are still these to infos which pop up in their respective HUD modes.

I hope you can help me.

    Regards,
    Alistair

PS: Despite my name I'm not a native speaker. So, I'm sorry for my poor language skills in english.

The only thing I've noticed is impossible to turn off is the yellow alert saying "Lap time invalidated" that appears if I drive outside track limits. But it could be that the Pit Speed Limit info also is impossible to remove - I just haven't noticed it.

    Thanks for your reply.
    Yeah, that's what I tried.
There is a "blank" HUD like in ACC but it isn't really blank because it shows "pit limiter" info.
What I want is a really clean/blank HUD without any info.

That's an interesting point. Thanks for your reply, as well.
The green flag symbol is also always displayed.
Maybe I have to look into "messages" in the HUD options to turn it (and the pit limiter info) off.

When you're in game and go to the menu, next to the audio and control options and all that, you have an section called "edit HUD" or something to that effect. There you can configure your HUD for different views, changing elements of the HUD, moving or disabling them. In those options there is also a tab for message settings.

IIRC you can turn off the pit limiter message there as well.

    Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I know. But if I turn it off the message still appears during a session. That's my problem. You turn off the whole info which is located under the mirror by default and it still appears while driving. And yes, I always press save after having made any changes.
And if I choose "light HUD" and disable everything manually, there is still the time delta appearing all of a sudden (although it has been deactivated).

you mean the time appaering under the virtual mirror by time delta, there is a button assignment for that, i think its called split times, you can press it 3 or 4 times to cycle through its different options including off, the hud config alone does not do a lot on that i think.

Wow, thank you very much. I will try that later. If this works it would be awesome because that way I can manually disabled all infos in "light" HUD and can have a absolutely clean HUD.
Hope it works like that. Thanks again for pointing this out.
I will post my findings later on.

    Hello everyone,

unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. I get shown three split times during a lap although I've disabled everything in gameplay options and in HUD options.
    It's a pity.
But thanks for your help so far.

    Merry Christmas,
    Alistair

thats unfortunate, i really thought that using the split times key you could cycle through them, and one off them turns them off.

i am out of options then

Yes me too. I've managed to get rid of everything except the pit limiter notification. I'll have another crack later though.
