The Steam Winter Sale is underway and AMS2's Season Pass is 25% off, or 33% if you buy it "bundled" with AMS2 which works out cheaper if you already own AMS2: Is this a good time to jump or is this likely to be reduced further?
I got AMS2 back in June 2021, only the base game at first since I considered the season pass kind of expensive even with the discount, but after a few days playing I bought the season pass in the bundle in your post. Imo it was worth it especially for the additional tracks (iirc you can get a friend that owns the DLC to create a lobby and invite you in so that you can try out the DLC tracks), right now you get 5 European tracks, 5 USA tracks with a 6th one coming later this month, as well as DPi, GTE, & Champ cars. Then there's the other content that will be added in 2022. It will probably get a bigger discount eventually but if you like the DLC content that's available right now I'd say it's worth it getting the season pass at the current price.
I also just saw a very similar thread on r/AUTOMOBILISTA, https://www.reddit.com/r/AUTOMOBILISTA/comments/rmd0zs/ams_2_season_pass/ The game does run really nicely, and I want more tracks in the future (Road Atlanta and Sugo please - Racing Japan when?), so I guess sending some encouragement might help.
Already done. And, when I found that it didn't need to download anything for the new DLC I've now seen some other upcoming content. Spoiler: Cars Astons, Lambos, Nissans, a new Merc, ... Spoiler: Tracks Bannochbrae, California, ...
i think you might have come across some old PC2 files/folders, that are there since the beginning...lol
Not sure about that one, but i guess if u put the season pass in your cart, then before checkout you should see what your price will be, and if its any different
Personally I am not very interested in most of the future packs in the Season Pass so havent bought it. I liked the Tracks Set and Racin' US though so got those separately. I enjoy the game and would like to support Reiza where possible though so I might get some of the future releases if they sound interesting enough but not interested in historical tracks much or off road stuff. I agree that in the sale its very good value to get AMS2 plus the Season Pass together for just £50. Spent more than that on the game plus separate dlc already.
It's well worth the money. If you're interested in the extra content, which is great BTW, go for it. No point waiting for a better deal which may or may not come. The content is really good with more to come If you play the game regularly you won't be sorry.
