Anyone else restarting their Steam client every 1min hoping for a new download?

yea indeed, i am not a fan of playing against the computer, aspecially cuz the computer could in theroy always be better than a human, we just tweaked them down to be somewhat on our level, but once u start to see their build in weakness, it gets boring quickly for me.

so i mainly drive completly alone or against other humans

 

back when Live for Speed was an active game, i loved to play on the "Cruise" servers, where u would earn money while driving around, some people applied for cops and tow, and the ingame script would allow them to start chasing them, fineing them and what not. was really cool.
with the earned money u could unlock other cars (u had them all when buying but u could get into them if u havent bought them through the server script)
and all within a racing simulator.

not a fan of 'just driving around' like the servers in AC offer, personally.
i enjoyed the reward u would get for driving safely and having a sense of progression, also the cop aspect was very fun, u would setup speedtraps or chase/get chased, sometimes even with multiple cops.
